Rev. Dr. William (Bill) Cain
Pastor Bill was born in Gastonia, NC and raised there in the First ARP Church. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill he worked for a short time in the banking industry. He joined his father’s company in 1983 and eventually leading it for a number of years as president. During this period, he was very active in ministry work around the world working with various ministries. In 2011 Bill sold his company and went to Erskine Theological Seminary where he earned his MDiv. degree in 2013 and his D.Min Degree in 2023. After serving as a supply at an ARP church in Mount Holly, NC, Bill moved to the Louisville ARP Church in 2013 as pastor.
Bill has been married to Monica for more than 30 years. They have three grown children and one grandchild.
Jennifer Visscher – Choir Director & Pianist
Jennifer and her husband, Klaas, a third generation dairy farmer, have been attending Louisville ARP since 2012. They have two daughters, Elizabeth, who lives and works in Greenville, South Carolina and Abby, who attends Brenau Women’s College in Gainesville, Georgia. Jennifer has worked in the field of special education for the past 23 years. She is currently a Speech Language Pathologist in McDuffie County. For fun, she and her family enjoy the sport of mounted fox hunting with the Belle Meade Hunt in Thomson, Georgia.
